Our Commitment to Web Accessibility
Updated October 31, 2026. This statement describes our accessibility work and the improvements that remain.
Couture Zen Foundation wants people to be able to find information, ask for support and take part in the work in a way that is useful to them. Accessibility is part of building that experience.
Our approach
We are using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA as a reference for improvements. The site has not completed a full accessibility evaluation, and we are not claiming sitewide conformance.
Features to help you use the site
Navigation and smaller screens. Pages are designed to adapt to smaller screens and browser zoom. You can use the keyboard to move through links and buttons.
Footer links. Links to Stories, Media, Partners/Donors and Support the Work use high-contrast text, generous click areas and visible keyboard focus indicators.
Contact options. Direct email links are available so you can contact the team without completing a website form. Please let us know if you need another way to communicate.
Images and structure. Descriptive image text, page headings and a skip-to-content link help visitors understand and navigate the pages.
Work still in progress
Further work includes screen-reader and assistive-technology testing and review of complete journeys with people using the site. Selected checks do not cover every browser, device, assistive technology or possible interaction.
We welcome feedback about barriers you encounter and will use it to guide improvements.
If something is difficult to use
Please email lafirehelp@gmail.com if a page, form or link is creating a barrier. Tell us which page you were using, what you were trying to do and how you would prefer us to respond. You may include your browser or assistive technology if it would help, but you do not need to send identity documents or medical information.
If you need help accessing a TPFB appointment invitation, contact the project before visiting. A smartphone or calendar app is not required to ask for help. The team can discuss access to the invitation and the steps needed to confirm a visit.
External websites and media
Some links lead to original news reports, social platforms or TPFB’s existing forms on another site. Their interfaces and accessibility features are controlled by those providers. If an external resource is difficult to access, let us know what information you were looking for so we can discuss another way to help.
